Melanin Jewel strive to provide a personalized, customized world class experience to all clients. If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us BEFORE 24 hours of the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in 50% of the service fee charged to the card on file.  Deposit: ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If appointments have to be rescheduled, appointments must be rescheduled within the 1 week of the original appointment in order for the deposit to apply to services. This means that if you cancel your appointment, you will not get your deposit back unless you reschedule for a new appointment within a one-week window of the original appointment date; if you miss this timeframe, your deposit is forfeited. For existing clients who rebook in person, a deposit will be charged to the card on file two days prior to the scheduled appointment. By rebooking your appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Your initials will serve as your electronic signature, granting Melanin Jewel permission to charge the deposit to the card on file. Late policy: To respect the time of clients and staff, we ask you to be on time for your appointment. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late will be required to pay a late fee. Clients who arrive more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their appointment and need to reschedule. No-show cancellation policy: Clients that fail to show or miss the appointment will be charged a “No Show” fee, which is 100% of the original cost of the scheduled service(s). We require 24 hours notice if you decide to reschedule your appointment. Please contact us if you're going to be more than 10 mins late. If it has been 10 minutes past your appointment time and we have not been notified by you, your appointment is subject to cancellation and you will be charged a fee.  • Cancellation and “No Show” fees will be charged to the credit card on file. Once this charge is completed, you may then schedule a new appointment at Melanin Jewel. If the card declines, a hold will be put on your profile in our system. • In the rare circumstance that clients have a history with 2 “no shows” or excessive reoccurring rescheduling/cancellations, they will no longer be able to book appointments at Melanin Jewel. * ALL FEES must be paid before booking a new appointment * By scheduling this appointment with Melanin Jewel, you agree that you have read and fully understand the information / policies listed online.
